Chapter 7
I charge a flat fee of $2,500 for 90% of my chapter 7 cases which includes all costs (e.g. filing fee, credit counseling courses and credit report).
Chapter 13
The initial retainer is $2,000 for chapter 13 which includes all costs (e.g. filing fee, credit counseling courses and credit report). After our first consultation, we will determine whether to proceed on an hourly or flat fee basis pursuant to Appendix F of the Local Rules of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland.

Not every case will qualify for flat fee pricing. Approximately 10% of our clients pay a retainer and a subsequent hourly fee. Examples of clients that would not be appropriate for flat fee agreements include individuals with complex small businesses, over $100,000 of tax debt, or $1 million of total debt. We routinely handle some of the most complex individual bankruptcy cases in Maryland.
